Shortly after getting married, our customers husband was sent to Vietnam to fight for our country . Sadly Pickett Byrd King, like many others, did not make it home. King left a legacy of love and patriotism and was awarded several medals of honor, including a Purple Heart. Almost 50 years later, to the date, Katheryn finally received his medals from Veterans Affairs. She lovingly left them with us to build a beautiful and safe resting place. King’s service and legacy is now beautifully displayed as well as preserved, for the generations to come.
